What I build: I design clear marketing sites, landing pages, redesigns, and simple online shops for small businesses. You work with me from the first conversation through launch, so the scope, timing, and trade-offs stay plain.
What this is best for
- Marketing sites
- Websites that explain what you do and make it easy to call or ask a question.
- Redesigns
- Older sites that need clearer writing, better structure, faster pages, or a visual reset. Read about my focused website redesign services.
- Landing pages
- Focused pages for a launch, seasonal campaign, event, or single service.
- Simple shops
- Small catalogs and straightforward checkout flows without enterprise complexity.
How the work usually goes
I start with a conversation about your business, your customers, and what the site needs to do. Then I write a plain plan with the scope, price, and rough timing. I share working screens early, test the finished site on phones and desktops, launch carefully, and agree on any post-launch help separately.
Planning range
Lamplight small-business marketing projects usually fall between $1,500 and $6,000. That is a planning range, not a package price; the proposal depends on page count, content, photography, e-commerce, integrations, and timeline. Domain, hosting, and paid tools are separate unless the proposal says otherwise. For machine-readable details, see the pricing file.
Ownership and handoff
Before work starts, the proposal spells out what transfers to you at launch and what remains subject to a platform or third-party license. I also explain whose account holds the domain, hosting, and paid tools, plus any ongoing costs. Website maintenance and support can be scoped separately after launch, subject to fit and availability.
Based in Wausau
I work from Wausau. Most project work happens by call and email; if an in-person conversation would help, we can discuss whether the timing and location make it practical.
